The world of Fortnite was taken by surprise when one player unveiled an ingenious method for infinite movement in the game's Chapter 5 season.
As Fortnite's Chapter 5 Season 1 approaches its close, the game has seen its fair share of intriguing updates and surprising changes. Yet, one player's discovery of a clever exploit may just be the most astounding of them all.
This season has seen several new elements introduced to the game, including new characters Solid Snake and TMNT. Both were introduced with a range of unique features and abilities, expanding the competition in the game’s interactive battlefield.
The latest development in the game, however, was brought about by none other than the in-game characters. An NPC named Contract Giller, despite being largely overlooked throughout the season, has turned out to be of pivotal importance.
A Game-Changing Discovery
The NPC’s unique abilities allow player squads to achieve infinite movement while in-game and it has been ably demonstrated by one strategic player. What’s even more fascinating is how this interesting game dynamic was discovered.
Fortnite player and content creator Jiznosh, discovered the infinite movement exploit and was understandably astounded by the revelation. The exploit revolves around the effective manipulation and strategic hiring of the NPC character, Contract Giller.
To explain the concept more clearly, Contract Giller is stationed at the docks located northwest of Classy Courts. Hiring him, along with opting for his most useful feature, Rift-To-Go, costs a total of 500 Gold Bars. This cost, however, enables one to achieve the infinite movement loop.
Once the Rift-To-Go feature is activated, another team member is required to repetitively hire and release Contract Giller and simultaneously enable the Rift-To-Go feature. This sequence would ultimately create an endless cycle of movement in the game.
Understanding the Methodology
The specifics of the process are quite fascinating. While one team member activates his Rift-To-Go, another team member should take a step back. Then the second team member should hire Giller and also opt for the Rift-To-Go. What ensues is a cycle of unending movement, creating an exciting dynamic in the game.
This exploit needs a systematic approach. The loop of un-hiring, re-Rifting, and re-hiring Contract Giller might seem a bit expensive in terms of in-game currency, but given the abundance of Gold Bars this season, it wouldn’t stress on the resources.
However, the one slight complication includes the fact that this trick can't be achieved by a single player. For optimal functioning, ideally, a full squad of four would be needed. This ensures efficient utilization of resources since you’d be going through Gold Bars at a rapid pace.
This unexpected discovery perfectly showcases the intriguing dynamics of Fortnite, presenting players with the opportunity to get imaginative with their gameplay, utilizing in-game features to elevate their strategies. The emergence of such player-driven tactics exemplifies the thriving creativity within Fortnite's community as well as the expansive possibilities offered by the game itself.
